Utsav is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India with over 9 years of professional experience in leading accounting firms and has worked for KPMG’s member firm (BSR) in India since 2013. Prior to KPMG he has worked with Ernst & Young (S.R. Batliboi) since 2011.
He was involved in various assignments of accounting advisory assignments, statutory audits, limited reviews, group audits (IFRS), consolidations, audit of shared service center and has independently handled taxation matters of individuals, firms and companies.

Professional and Industry Experience
Utsav has been extensively involved in Power & Energy, Consumer Markets & Retail, Life Science & Health Care, Industrial Markets, Real Estate and Transports and Logistics which include the statutory audit, limited reviews, group audit (IFRS) and consolidation of large enterprises, tax audits and certification work. Also, he has been part of Ind AS transition team with some of the large corporates.
He has expert knowledge of accounting of Financial Instruments, Hedges & Derivatives, Business Combinations, Consolidation and preparation and presentation of financial statements under various GAAPs (Ind AS, IFRS and US GAAP)
He is an experienced professional in Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) across the stock exchanges in India, United States of America, Singapore, Luxemburg and Japan, Transaction support services, FEMA and Security laws. His specialty is in, but not limited to, Mergers & acquisitions, Purchase price allocations, Price fixations, Financial Due Diligence, Financial restatements, Company law matters and Company formation.

Regular speaker on the accounting topics in the different forums at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Active member of various associations like Bombay Chartered Accountants, Chambers of Tax, Indian Merchant Association and Chartered Accountants Association. Organizing member of “Vibrant Gujarat – 2009” – Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Presented a paper on Employee Stock Option Plans (ESOP) in WIRC Branch of ICAI, Ahmedabad.
